He considers how rapidly advancements are being made and how new data are being released at every meeting that affect clinical care.
Dr Kalinsky also reflects on how early in his career, he wishes he had known that he would feel a lack of control when a treatment plan does not garner the results that he had hoped for. He advises clinicians early in their career to not be disheartened by treatment plans that do not pan out for patients.
